Similar light and framing give the composition a clearer reference for scale. Two separate people should remain distinct in the finished scene; compare both faces instead of checking only the person closest to the camera.

For a family or larger group, start with one existing group photograph. AI Halloween currently accepts no group photos and does not assemble separate portraits. Make sure every face is visible and leave space between people where possible. Children are not accepted by the current generators. For a pet, photograph the animal at eye level with ears, paws and distinctive markings visible. Pet and person-and-pet modes are unavailable on this website. Check that the output preserves the species, coat pattern and natural body shape. A wizard hat or pumpkin outfit in an AI image is a visual idea; it is not a recommendation to put an animal into restrictive clothing.

Turn a costume concept into a practical outfit

After choosing a concept, make a short list of its recognizable parts: a dark base outfit, a contrasting collar, a cape or one lightweight accessory. Separate those useful ideas from impossible fabric shapes or floating details. The image is a creative reference, not a sewing pattern, sizing chart or shopping recommendation. Check comfort, visibility and freedom of movement independently before wearing a real costume.

Compare concepts using the same source photograph when possible. This helps you focus on the outfit rather than changes in pose or camera angle. Look for a clear silhouette at small size, then inspect the result closely for altered proportions.
